Gamma-ray resistance

DuPont's (Wilmington, DE) metallized PVDC-coated Mylar XM MC1T and MC2 polyester films are now available with a gamma-ray resistance feature. An excellent barrier to oxygen, moisture, light, flavor and odor, applications include sterile packaging of medical supplies and aseptic packaging of oxygen-sensitive foods, such as juices, purees and pastes.
