Speaker Biography:

John Anderson is global program manager for high performance packaging adhesives within H.B. Fuller's Global Adhesives business. In this position, Anderson is responsible for defining and implementing the marketing strategy for Advantra® packaging adhesives and SmartGrip® temporary bundling adhesives serving the packaging markets. Anderson began his career with H.B. Fuller in 1992 as a senior chemist. He has held various technical positions in the woodworking and assembly business units, including senior section leader for the water-base adhesives section. In 2002, Anderson was named global program manager for fiberglass sizing and filter media polymers. In 2006, he became global program manager for high performance packaging adhesives. Anderson holds a Bachelor's degree in wood science and forest products from Pennsylvania State University in State College, PA.

David Mitchell is the senior marketing manager for the adhesive, footwear, film and molded goods markets within Dow's Specialty Plastics and Elastomers business portfolio. In this position, Dave is responsible for defining and implementing the North American marketing strategy for all the products serving these markets. Dave joined Dow in 1989 as a chemical engineer in Midland, MI, within Dow's Engineering Thermoplastics R&D group. In 1993, he was named manufacturing engineer for Dow's High Gloss ABS manufacturing and in 1995 he became a technical service and development representative for Dow's Engineering Thermoplastics business. In 1997, Dave transitioned to Fabricated Products as an account manager serving the automotive industry. He later became global market manager for that business. He was named to his current position in 2004. Dave holds a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI, and received his MBA from the University of Michigan in the spring of 1997.

Matthew Gaddis is area technical manager for H.B. Fuller's North American Adhesives group. In this role, Gaddis is responsible for providing technology based customer service for H. B. Fuller's sales territory managers and adhesives customers. Gaddis' experience in product development, engineering, manufacturing and chemistry supports his solutions approach to internal and external customer needs. Gaddis has been with H.B. Fuller since 1998, when he was hired as a senior chemist in H.B. Fuller waterborne adhesives laboratory. He was named to his current position as area technical manager, North American Adhesives, in 2001. A graduate of the Virginia Military Institute, Gaddis holds a bachelor of science degree in chemistry and is certified by the American Chemical Society.

Bradley Lindberg is a corporate buyer in charge of industrial adhesives for Hormel Foods Corporation. In this capacity, Lindberg assures an uninterrupted supply of adhesives to all Hormel Foods manufacturing facilities. Lindberg began his career with Hormel Foods Corporation in 1982 in the operations area. He spent 11 years at the Hormel Foods flagship plant in Austin, MN; six years at their Fremont, NE, facility and the past seven years at Hormel Foods Corporate Offices in the purchasing department. He is corporate chairperson of Hormel's Supplier Quality Management committee, and also heads their Corporate Partners in Quality program.

Selim Yalvac is a development leader in the Specialty Plastics and Elastomers business of The Dow Chemical Company. His responsibilities include supporting business and product development for polyolefins, primarily for low molecular weight polymers and specialty polyolefins. His specific areas of expertise are composite materials, polymers material science, and hot-melt adhesives.
