(Rolling Meadows IL) and the Assn. of Independent Corrugated Converters (Alexandria VA) have presented the 1999 Corrugated Industry Safety Awards to the following recipients: International Paper Co.; Unicor Packaging Group; Smurfit-Stone Container Corp.; Inland Paperboard and Packaging Inc.; Willamette Industries Inc.; Mead Containerboard Div.; Gaylord Container Corp.; Weyerhaeuser Co.; and Georgia-Pacific Corp.—Mead Corp.’s (Dayton OH) coated board div. recently initiated a third-party audit of its forestry operations.
