The inner layer offers good heat-sealing properties the middle layer is a barrier layer to keep the air inside the cushioning and guarantee mechanical strength and the outer film layer provides a nonslip surface for increased protection of goods during transport. By reducing the distance between cushions the number of cushions yielded from a roll is increased for cost savings.
