Weatherchem appoints new VP of sales

Weatherchem Corporation has appointed Kevin Stevens to vice president of sales.

Stevens will lead Weatherchem’s commercial operations as an integral member of the company’s senior leadership group. He brings to Weatherchem extensive experience in packaging, sales, commercial operations, marketing, and product innovation. Weatherchem’s sales team, customer service organization, and technical services group will all report to Stevens.

“At Weatherchem we continuously seek out opportunities to build upon our leadership position, as well as better ourselves, in the marketplace.” said Jennifer Altstadt, president. “Kevin’s comprehensive background and passion for the industry will certainly enhance our company.”

Prior to joining Weatherchem, Stevens spent 20 years with Owens-Illinois, Inc (NYSE: OI) in many leadership roles, most recently as vice president of sales, marketing, and innovation – Glass Containers, North America.
