Pull-push closure

Creative Packaging (Buffalo Grove, IL) has introduced its TE pull-push closure for still water and other beverage applications. The Pull Push Sport Cap consists of a 28-mm PP base and PE spout, with a clear PP overcap.

These are shipped assembled. Upon twisting overcap ribs are broken thereby breaking the TE seal. Once opened the overcap does not reseat tightly into the base of the closure.
