O-I Closure & Specialty Products has introduced a new production cell and orifice size for its 33-mm Contour® hinge dispensing closure product line. The new cell provides the needed capacity to meet demand for the closure, introduced in 2004.

The new ½” orifice size allows closure to be used with a wider array of viscous products such as honey, relish, and syrups. Snap-back feature provides a wider opening closure that allows for easier dispensing. Other features include a recessed thumb pad and compatibility with both inline and chuck-style cappers.
