O-I is in production of its molded-in FreshSeal™ XL III liner, among the world’s first closures with a molded-in barrier seal that provides gas barrier levels said to be equal to or better than foil, as tested by an independent laboratory.

The seal is softer than previous molded-in liners therefore helping the closure consistently seal tightly to the finish. Also eliminates the need for consumers to remove a foil seal before using product.
