Bagged carry-on bottles kit takes off

Tumi, Inc., New York City, has chosen O.Berk Co. (www.oberk.com) to provide the PET bottles for its newest product, the Carry-On Essentials Kit, for airline passengers. It is a response to the Transportation and Security Administration’s latest restrictions on what passengers can take with them aboard airplanes.

Tumi offers the new TSA compliant Essentials Kit as a gift to its customers who purchase a new carry-on tote bag or wheeled packing case in any of Tumi’s stores nationwide. The Essentials Kit features four spill-proof plastic bottles in a clear zippered pouch, making it the perfect boarding item to hold cosmetics, medications, and other small items.

Two of the 2-oz PET bottles provided by O.Berk are topped by continuous thread black caps; the other two by black disc-top dispensing closures. The bottles are screen-printed with the Tumi brand name in red and the bottle size in black. The four bottles are packaged in a 1-quart sized, reclosable, reusable clear plastic gusseted envelope made from a heavy duty, clear polyvinyl chloride with a heat-sealed PVC zipper.
