Aseptic screw cap fitment

International Paper (Memphis, TN) has introduced a screw cap for aseptic liter liquid containers. The Aseptic Liter Fitment is a counter-rotating device that breaks the foil seal found on liquid aseptic packages.

It offers easier opening pourability and resealability as well as greater package integrity. The applicator can be installed as a downline piece of equipment on the company's Evergreen SA-50 and SA-665 aseptic filling machines.
