Clear Choice Awards

The Glass Packaging Institute has announced a call for entries for the 2012 Clear Choice Awards, which recognizes the contribution glass packaging makes to the image, marketability, sustainability, and success of food, beverage and cosmetic products.

Since 1989, the Clear Choice Awards has honored consumer product goods (CPG) manufacturers who expand the frontiers of glass packaging design
by using glass containers in innovative ways. From sparkling water to salsa, baby food to bottled fruit juices, beer to flavored rums, pasta sauce to pickles, the Clear Choice Awards are presented to products that triumph in glass.

GPI will award top package designs in the following categories:
* Beer
* Wine
* Distilled Spirits
* Flavored Alcoholic Beverage
* Food
* Organic Food or Beverage
* Carbonated Beverage
* Non-Carbonated Beverage
* Fragrance/Cosmetics/Other

To enter the 2012 Clear Choice Awards, participants should visit the
GPI website and fill out this year’s submission form. Independent
judges representing a cross-section of industry stakeholders will vote
to honor winning products as the best glass packaging designs in North
America. All 2012 Clear Choice Awards winners will be promoted in
external media efforts and recognized on GPI’s web site.

Visit the [5]GPI website to check out past winners and find out more
information on submission guidelines. There is no fee to enter. All
entries must be postmarked by August, 15, 2012. Winners will be
announced on the week of September 14, 2012.
