Though the material was developed in close cooperation and with the assistance of Lachenmeier a manufacturer of end-of-line stretch hooding equipment ExxonMobil Chemical films made of its Nexxstar material can be applied by stretch-hood systems made by companies other than Lachenmeier. ExxonMobil says material cost savings of up to 30% can be gained because the same holding force can be obtained while down-gauging the film structure.
