Designed for use with cosmetics, alcohol, high-end beverages, and other upscale products, Holcosperse B Matte Frost from Holland Colours emulates the appearance of frosted glass in PET and can be dosed directly on-line without secondary operations.

This patent-pending product uses a unique additive chemistry to create the frosted-glass look with gloss reductions of up to 85%, according to the company. The additive does not depend on orientation to achieve the desired frost effect. Complies with FDA and EU regulations for PET packaging applications and provides soft texture, scuff and mar resistance, and increased slip properties. A dust-free, microbead product, it may be used on its own or incorporated into any custom colors and may also be used with additives such as UV absorbers and oxygen barriers.
