Portola Packaging offers the Fusion cap, designed to allow consumers to enhance drinks by adding flavor or vitamin components with the twist of a cap.
Consumers can mix a powder tablet or liquid additive into a drink at the point of use. Design extends the life of beverages and the potency of the additives by keeping them separate until ready for consumption. Caps can be designed to standard neck finishes for PET and HDPE bottles. Consumers twist the cap of the 2-piece resealable closure to cut open a small container within the closure allowing the additive to disperse into the beverage in the bottle.
