The LINX 6200 Series ink-jet printer from Diagraph (St. Louis, MO) offers enhancements over the 6000 Series, including the use of white, pigmented ink for coding on dark substrates.
The ink is said to be fade-resistant in sunlight making it suitable for substrates likely to be stored outside. A Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) option is available for simplified communication via a PC Windows(TM) application.
