Owens Design's (Fremont, CA) bottle orientation/label verification system provides high-speed label inspection on pharmaceutical bottles. It orients bottles and presents label data to a vision system for verification while checking for cap skew and TE seals at speeds of more than 400 bottles/min.
For use in detecting diversion and unauthorized distribution, Biocode(TM) is a covert surface marking technology from Biocode (Cambridge, MA). This patent-pending coding can be applied through on-line ink-jet printing systems to produce invisible codes on packaging, labels or bottles.
