With shorter lead times and lower minimums at more competitive prices, the technology can also produce tamper-evident bands and preforms. Quick changeovers for variable repeat lengths are possible. An expanded variety of colors and tonal gradations to 1% color density--with the ability to control process printings--are also possible. The technology provides greater flexibility in printing multiple sku’s and the option to change label graphics more frequently without the cost of rotogravure cylinders. UV inks offer optimal print quality and a more sustainable product.
