Yellow Jacket 110: Orbital stretch wrapper saves money, time, space

Yellow Jacket’s 87M Orbital Stretch Wrap Machine is designed for securing oversized, oddly shaped, palletized loads—up to 68-in. diagonal-- while the pallet remains on the forklift.

The 87M requires a footprint of only about 8- x 9-ft. and runs on 110VAC. It is horizontally positioned to move around and under a load as it is manually advanced across the length of the load to significantly minimize the time it takes to wrap a load by hand. A load that takes 2 workers roughly 10 minutes to wrap a load by hand can be wrapped with the 87M with 1 worker in 1 minute. In addition to reducing the labor required to wrap by at least 50%, the 87M also eliminates the need for other strapping materials or expensive cartons to secure loads—further reducing cost. Tightly wrapped to the pallet, the load’s ability to shift, fall or slide in transit is nearly impossible.

Available in manual or semi-automatic, Yellow Jacket’s customers have reported anywhere from $20,000-50,000 dollars saved annually in labor costs alone.
