Pro Mach's President of End of Line Packaging Mack Greene Retires
Pro Mach, Inc. announced today that Charles M. (Mack) Greene, President
of its End-of-Line Business Unit, will retire January 31 this year.
Greene, a 30-year veteran in the packaging industry, joined Pro Mach more than 7 years ago with its acquisition of Orion Packaging Systems. Greene co-founded Orion in 1988 and directed its growth into a leading provider of stretch wrapping equipment and solutions.
He continued to lead Orion as part of Pro Mach until 2005, when he was named President of the company’s newly formed End-of-Line Business Unit, which includes Orion, Brenton Engineering, Rennco, and Wexxar Packaging. He will continue to serve as an advisor to Pro Mach.
“We deeply appreciate Mack’s dedicated service to Pro Mach and his unfailing commitment to our customers,” said John W. Paxton, Sr., Pro Mach Chairman and CEO. “His insight, extensive experience, and personal warmth have earned him many friends and a special place in our industry and in our company’s history. We wish him and his family all the best in the future.”
“I’ve been fortunate to enjoy a long and rewarding career in a single industry. I will always treasure the many experiences, successes, and close friendships that I’ve gained over the years,” said Greene. “I’m also looking forward to having more time to pursue personal interests, spend more time with family, and, as they say, ‘relax a bit’. I wish continued success to Pro Mach and my colleagues throughout the packaging industry.” He continued to lead Orion as part of Pro Mach until 2005, when he was named President of the company’s newly formed End-of-Line Business Unit, which includes Orion, Brenton Engineering, Rennco, and Wexxar Packaging.
