Packaging Machines Intl. (Elk Grove, IL) has a new seal system with 2 heating elements located in the seal bar to provide consistent temperature to the seal surface.

A 2-piece coated seal insert design sandwiches the cut-off knife and eliminates film sticking company says. All standard PMI wrappers are equipped with the new seal bar design which ranges from 20” to 50”. Custom systems are also available.
