PRB introduces servo overwrapper
PRB's new high-speed fleXE FAR servo bundler/overwrapper is one of the smallest and fastest film overwrappers on the market.
It can handle up to 105 single wraps per minute or 80 bundles. It
utilizes a fixed knife, servo-driven wrapping and cutting station.
Products can be wrapped in line or with turning or 90% orientation.
Following lateral folding and transverse sealing of bottom or rear side, sealing is performed at low temperatures, important for delicate products such as chocolate, fruit and soap bars.
PRB has selected ELAU for its automation platform thanks to their total focus on packaging, modularity, and ready-to-run software functionalities to include robotics.
