U.K. supermarket Sainsbury wants healthy kids
It's the first retailer to provide Guideline Daily Amounts for children aged 5 to 10 years on its food packaging.
Eventually the new labeling will be phased in and displayed on all own-brand products. While nutrition guidelines for adults have been printed on packaging for many years this is the first time for children whose needs are different. Studies show parents want this information!
