When Congress failed to incorporate such uniformity in last year's comprehensive FDA modernization bill several Congressional leaders indicated they would be willing to revisit the issue this session. Sen. Jim Jeffords (R-VT) chairman of the Senate Labor and Human Resources Committee said he would schedule hearings on labeling uniformity.
