Supplier news: Domestic acquisitions, agreements

Rockwell Automation (Minneapolis, MN) and Cognex Corp. (Natick, MA) announced they have entered into a letter of intent to form a global relationship.

Under the proposed relationship Cognex will acquire the rights to certain technologies of Rockwell Automation's Allen-Bradley machine vision business and will become the preferred global supplier of machine vision products to Rockwell Automation's customers.
