At Pack Expo Las Vegas, Schneider Packaging Equipment Co., Inc. exhibited the benefits of vision-guided robotics, as Terry L. Zarnowski, sales and marketing director, explains here. Using machine vision in harmony with robots for picking operations can eliminate the need for hard automation and can improve the reliability and longevity of equipment, he says.
