Because OX-TRAN Model 1/50 provides coulometric method for absolute readings, the need to calibrate is eliminated. The analyzer also comes standard with Quick Start functionality which speeds set-up time. Frequency Modulation RH Control provides fast, automatic relative humidity controls, allowing real-time testing conditions. Operator input is simplified with screen prompts, displayed on the easy to-read screens in any of five languages. Built-in (fault tolerant) safety systems prevent sensor damage and protect against over or under pressure or thermo runaway. The analyzer is designed to test medium-to-low barrier film within the range of 0.1-200 cc/m2 day (using the standard 50cm2 test cell) and less than 65 mil thick. (It can also test coated paperboard.) Conforms to ASTM D3985 and ASTM F1927 standards.
