Compact checkweigher

Available from Packaging Distributors, Inc. (Lawrenceville, GA), the PLC-controlled model CSW checkweigher is said to accurately weigh cases, trays, cartons and other containers.

The patent-pending “Lifting Weigh Platform” allows product to be weighed without having to weigh the entire conveyor protecting the load cells from possible damage. Metering device weigh platform and reject mechanism are all contained in one compact footprint. Options include SCADA interface to bar-code readers and printers open-flap detection and code-date verification.
