Clear vacuum chamber for bubble leak test
The new LVC‐1218‐1121‐VC‐PT Vertical Clear (VC) vacuum chamber from LACO Technologies, Inc. is a clear-acrylic vacuum chamber specifically designed for visual bubble leak testing.
By Gretchen Edelbrock, Products Editor
The vacuum chamber offers a vertical cylindrical design and is constructed of durable cast acrylic. The clear acrylic material provides a full 360-degree view of packaging during test. The LVC‐1218‐1121‐VC‐PT is designed with a shelf mounted beneath the vacuum chamber lid, which keeps the part submerged during testing, and comes with three standard ports (vacuum, vent, and gauge).
The system allows users to accurately set up packaging lines that are reliable, and minimize downtime as well as overall cost reduction in damaged product packaging. Bubble leak testing can be used in packaging testing for such industries as food and beverage, chemical and gas storage, and pharmaceuticals. Custom chambers are available.
