This 100 % leak test takes place without any loss of capacity on the line, says Qipack. The technology behind the new leak detector is based on high-definition infra red camera images taken immediately after sealing. Special software analyzes the images and detects any abnormal seal that comes along, so that the emission unit can take the “leaking” packages out of the packaging line. The system examines each individual packaging, regardless of the production speed.

It can also monitoring if the production equipment is functioning properly and whether any maintenance has to be scheduled. In addition, the system also offers the possibility of a 100% tracking and tracing and an OEE manager option that monitored the line efficiency constantly.
