Spee-Dee relocates production facility, appoints midwest sales rep

James P. Navin, President of Spee-Dee® Packaging Machinery, Inc., has announced that the company has relocated its corporate headquarters to a new, state-of-the-art production facility—more than doubling its production space. Additionally, Joseph Vitale, Jr. has been appointed Midwest Regional Sales Representative.

“The significant growth Spee-Dee has experienced during the past several years has rendered our existing facility too small to accommodate a rise in sales and the 25% increase in our workforce that has occurred within calendar year 2007,” he said.

David Navin, the Business Development executive responsible for the expansion transition, stressed the many benefits customers will enjoy as a result of the innovatively configured plant layout.  “We are now able to more closely simulate how our customers’ equipment will perform once it is fully operational within their facilities,” Navin explained.

Spee-Dee® has maintained its presence within Sturtevant, Wisconsin.

In other Spee-Dee news, Joseph Vitale, Jr. has been appointed Midwest Regional Sales Representative. “By maintaining a Chicago based center of operations,” said Timm Johnson, Vice President, Sales/Marketing, “Vitale will enable Spee-Dee to significantly maximize our already strong marketing presence within a broader range of our targeted accounts.”
