Pack Expo video coverage: High-speed tube filler
At the Sidel booth, Norden-Pac (Branchburg, NJ) was showing its Nordenmatic 2002S/Nordenpac 2002S high-speed tube filling and cartoning line.Occupying a compact footprint, the integrated machines are capable of unpacking, filling, sealing, and cartoning tubes at speeds to 200/min or higher, depending on tube size and viscosity. Built completely from the ground up around servo technology from Elau (Chicago, IL), the tube filler uses an ABB (New Berlin, WI) robotic arm to unpack cases of tubes and deliver them to an oval track for filling and sealing.
