Program enables conversion from tape to adhesive
Henkel is offering a new, fully integrated, turn-key program to convert from packaging tape to adhesive: the TapOut Package Sealing Solution.TapOut is a bundled system that includes low-temperature application adhesive, adhesive dispensing equipment, and a packaging line that seals top and bottom. No capital investment is required, and conversion is quick and easy. Simply roll away the taper and roll in the TapOut Package Sealing Solution.
Switching to adhesive eliminates downtime caused by tape. Production stoppages caused by tape roll changes, improper tape cutting, cases sticking together, wrap-arounds, misalignments, tape head maintenance, and tape tension are eliminated. The low-temperature adhesive technology minimizes char build-up, nozzle clogs, and nozzle replacement. Using adhesive also saves up to 20% on corrugated cost by reducing the square footage of the case, according to the company. Adhesive expands package design options for improved package aesthetics and shelf appeal. Improves sustainability.
