Oystar A+F: Wrap-around case packer for cups, cup sets, bottles

Oystar A+F’s SetLine Wrap-around Packer packs single cups, cup sets, and bottles of various shapes and sizes directly into trays or cases, and can also sleeve primary packs into multi-packs before tray/case packing.

The Setline packs cups up to 140mm in height at speeds up to 43,000/hr., and bottles of the same maximum height at speeds up to 30,000/hr.

Because of its modular design, the SetLine’s can stand alone or be linked directly to filling equipment.  This versatility helps ensure flexibility in product packing, and significant cost savings.

SetLine can be combined with Oystar A+F Tray Erectors.  The company also supports the integration of SetLine into production environments by providing all upstream components to handle incoming products and trays, as well as downstream components up to and including complete palletizing solutions.

With the SetLine, both sleeving and case packing are performed in one machine frame, saving floor space.  The machine also utilizes customized dual-axis robots which allows many counts and formats to be run (1X2, 2X2, 2X4, 4X4, etc.), as well as the ability to run varying materials such as paperboard, chipboard, and corrugated materials.

End effectors pick product primarily with grippers (rather than suction) for minimized seal integrity issues.  The grippers are manipulated by robotic motion and, therefore, do not use pneumatics; this results in higher efficiencies and relatively low maintenance.
