EZ-Tek industries introduces side belt random case taper

 EZ-Tech's SB-2/R utilizes pressure-sensitive tape and features rugged side belt drive. SB-2/R offers the durability, versatility, and reliability required in industrial environments. The system’s unique and simple design has proven to be one of the most reliable random case tapers on the market today, keeping production and maintenance efforts to a minimum and providing fast and efficient alternatives to hand taping.

SB-2/R offers fast and easy case changes with adjustable side belt drive and flexibility ranging from 4.5˝ to infinite box length. SB-2/R is also able to seal cases ranging from 4˝ to 21˝ in width, as well as 2˝ to 25˝ in depth. The SB-2/R will automatically adjust to random-sized boxes that are operator fed. The SB-2/R can be locked in position to accept runs of same size cases. A single drive motor and aggressive drive belts move boxes and stand up to packaging’s toughest challenges.

SB-2/R top and bottom tape heads are interchangeable and tip back for easy threading. The efficient machine design allows clear access to all components and adjusts for a variety of case sizes. The use of EZ-Tek Industries SB-2/R case taping machine are learned in minutes, avoiding breaks in production and downtime, saving money and increasing ROI.

Each case-taping machine is built from 10-gauge steel and powder coated for industrial strength durability.
