Elliott: Variable speed case erector
The EV 250 case erector from Elliott Manufacturing Company, Inc. features variable speed of 5 to 25 cpm; fast, tool less changeover; and a servo-driven main drive.
With the EV 250’s positive case opening device, cases are gripped on both the major panels and minor panels allowing the case to be pulled open. The device is able to run square cases without modification, providing more flexibility in case construction.
The EV 250’s open frame construction with walk-in guarding allows the operators to have direct access to the machine for change over, routine maintenance, and clearing jams. Fast changeover adjustment points equipped with hand wheels and counters provide quick and easy change over – under two minutes for the full case packing system.
All drive mechanisms are located for easy access and limited, required scheduled maintenance.
The case erector features a 48-in. horizontal powered magazine, with options available to expand the magazine capacity.
