Econocorp (Randolph, MA) designed the Econocaser®, compact, heavy-duty construction horizontal case packer. Master shipping cases are automatically pulled from the supply magazine, erected, and their back dust flaps closed prior to product loading.
At a single-load station product is manually loaded or the optional product collating/loading feature automatically loads. The machine cycle is initiated and the loaded case is transported to the closure section. P-s tape or hot melt glue bonds the flaps down.
