A-B-C Packaging Machine Corp.: Compact case former
A-B-C Packaging’s (Tarpon Springs, FL) 16¾’-long Pro Forma 450 case erector/sealer occupies a small footprint on the production floor. At speeds to 50 cases/min, the Pro Forma is built of a heavy-gauge reinforced steel frame.
A 3-horsepower drive motor powers the continuous-motion main drive. A soft-start soft-stop motor ensures smooth operation and minimizes machine wear. Floating case grippers operate independently to ensure reliable case blank feed from uneven or band-marked stacks. Cases are opened by dual gripper assemblies that flatten each case as it is gripped for opening.
