Said to be the first of its type in the industry, the PrintPro(TM) Xpression(TM) thermal-transfer printer from Comstar (Streetsboro, OH) can print directly onto stackable cardstock, such as header cards, blister cards or tickets.

This allows packaging material to be purchased in bulk yet customized with such things as pricing information bar codes product descriptions and SKU numbers just before packaging. The Xpression prints at 300-dpi resolution at speeds to 10"/sec and can accommodate print widths up to 5" and card/label widths to 6".
