Entry-level vertical bagger offers economy, flexibility
New vertical bagging system allows for a range of bag styles and sealing options, and offers multiple in-field upgrade options.
By Anne Marie Mohan
Eric J. Aasen, product line manager, Packaging Machines, for Bosch Packaging Technology, Inc. takes time out at Pack Expo Las Vegas 2009 to detail the features of the new SVI vertical bagger series. Models, including the 120-bpm 2060 and the 100-bpm 4020, can accommodate bag widths from 260 to 400 mm, respectively. Designed for food and nonfood applications, the machine has a low height, which Bosch says enables higher production speeds and increased Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
