The Sprint bagging system from Automated Packaging Systems (Streetsboro, OH) provides bags with reclosable zippers, adhesive closures, reinforced headers that allow bags to hold relatively heavy products, and extra large openings for automatic or manual filling of several pieces at once.
In batch mode the system runs at 70 bags/min; at continuous mode it runs at 120 bags/min. Bag graphics can be printed in up to five colors all the way to the edge of the package.
