Increased volume led London Graphics to add a Cyrel® 3002i plate processor from DuPont Printing & Publishing (Wilmington, DE). According to DuPont, the London, Ontario, Canada-based company is the first in North America to have the system installed.

"Our volume has increased beyond its capacity so platemaking was becoming something of a bottleneck" says Norm London chief financial officer. The 3002i he says "is almost robotic in the way it handles processing drying and post-exposure. We only inspect the plate once. After that we don't touch it until we take it off trim it and ship it."
