IMS awarded Special Prize in Human Resource Management at the Alpha Gala 2012
Identification Multi Solutions Inc. (IMS), which offers a wide range of services including label printing and application, shrink sleeve production, sale and maintenance of printers and applicators, as well as data capture solutions, has announced that earlier this month they were awarded the Special Prize in Human Resource Management at the 2012 Alpha Gala.
The Montréal-based company was recognized as employer of choice by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Saint-Laurent.
This 2012 Alpha Gala is the culmination of a contest that grants distinction to high-performing companies of the Western Montréal Region, home of many Montréal-based small- and medium-sized businesses. The prize recognizes that the initiatives implemented by IMS allowed employees to comprehend their importance, individually and as a group, and to better understand their possible evolution within the company.
“I would like to thank Mrs. Nathalie Tardif for her exemplary work,” stated Jean Éthier, President of IMS. “This recognition from Emploi Québec and the Jury of our peers and other experts in entrepreneurship of the Greater Montréal fills us with pride.”
Tardif, Director of Operations at IMS, received the prize at the Alpha Gala. Employed at IMS for 16 years, she has worked in human resources since May 2007 and was at the origin of fruitful initiatives including the development of an employee manual, the revision of position profiles and organization charts as well as the implementation of a wage pattern.
“I am very happy that my work has created a feeling of belonging and fairness among our employees today, and that as a consequence our work environment has improved,” Tardif said.
