Slautterback's (Monterey, CA) Autotech® AT15 hot melt unit permits one or two supply hoses to be attached to its 15-lb tank. A microprocessor-based controller regulates not only the individual temperatures in the tank hoses and applicator but also the timing function that controls pump operation.

Circuits automatically shut down the unit if preset temperatures are exceeded. Operator use is simplified by presenting a graphic representation of the unit which relies on internationally recognized symbols.
