Matthews Intl. (Pittsburgh, PA) has introduced the Jet-A-Mark IP9000 Series ink-jet printer. It uses advanced noncontact ink-jet technology for high-resolution coding of text, logos and bar codes on corrugated cases, tray packs, labels, tags and other packaging materials.

Prints 1 to 4 lines of text from a single printhead and up to 8 lines from a dual-headed system with character sizes from 1/8" to 1 7/8" and speeds to 900"/min.
