Ragot most recently served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Novariant, Inc., a technology-based company providing solutions in GPS and other positioning control systems and will assume the Exopack CEO role held temporarily by Tom Vale. Vale will continue to fulfill his responsibilities as President, Chief Operating Officer and Secretary of the Company.

“We considered many extraordinary candidates during the search for our new CEO,” said Jack Knott, the company’s Chairman and former CEO.  “Chris brings more than 25 years of operational experience, many of them in senior management positions and has earned a reputation as a trusted and respected leader.  His diverse background in technology and industrial manufacturing will help Exopack drive its strategic initiatives.”

“I am honored to have the opportunity to lead this exciting company,” said Chris Ragot.  “With a proven track record in implementing new technology and providing exceptional customer service, Exopack’s employees and management team have built a company I look forward to leading.”

Ragot will be relocating to Exopack’s executive offices in Chicago, IL.
