Storopack has introduced the Airplus® machine for the on-demand manufacturing of bubble-type air cushioning.
A single, versatile machine can produce Wave ½” cells or Quilt ¾” cells at speeds of 30’/min using ambient air. A 30# roll of 13” film produces a full 12” web that is perforated every 6”, yielding 95 cu’ of Quilt or 75 cu’ of Wave cushioning. Both products are suitable for wrapping, surface protection, and void-fill applications in a range of industries. Both products can be run on standard Storopack Excel machines with minor setting adjustments.
