De-foaming system solves foaming problems associated with filling juice and carbonated soft drinks
Video from Hartness Intl. shows its high-speed de-foaming system that uses ultrasonic energy to eliminate foam under high-speed filling conditions.
Designed to eliminate foam as a result of high-speed filling, D-FOAM-R from Hartness Intl. is positioned over open bottles on the discharge of high-speed carbonated soft drink or juice filling systems. It emits ultrasonic energy into the each bottle, breaking the surface tension of foam bubbles, instantly dissipating the foam immediately after filling. Solves product overflow, product giveaway, short fills, or excessively-sized containers associated with filling beverages that have the potential to foam.
