The signal conditioner is used to convert potentiometric input signals into standardized voltage or current signals, and supplies the position sensors with a constant, highly stable voltage. The MUP400 has a high sample rate of up to 5 kHz. Users can select either 0 to 10V or 4 to 20mA outputs by setting a DIP switch. Auto-calibration is achieved by pressing two buttons on the front of the device to set offset as well as span. The span can be limited to 80% of the total input range. The MUP400 also has low temperature drift of 25 ppm/K.
