With servo drives at the registration roll, vertical sealer, web feed roll, tucking roll, filler wheel, and top sealer, the ServOriginal pouching system from Cloud (Des Plaines, IL) has replaced mechanical parts that need regular maintenance, can become misaligned, and may be difficult to clean.
Producing 200 to 2 pouches/min the continuous-motion machine creates flexible pouches up to 6” W and 10.5” H out of most heat-sealable laminates and coextruded films. The machine’s patented system allows it to continue producing pouches even when there is backup downstream.
