Unit may be incorporated into machinery used for packaging and food processing, material handling/conveying, and converting. Thanks to a simplified communications protocol, integrating the new controller requires minimal software development and allows machine builders to use the same touchscreen interfaces, etc. as they do with the base machine. Suitable for printing 4 to 5 lines of text, graphics, logos, and bar codes from 3⁄32 to 5 in. high, the V84i can drive between 1 and 4 print heads, a total of 32 valves, at line speeds to 786 ft/min.
